Professor Mannixs E. Paul is a highly respected scholar-practitioner with a Ph.D. in organization and management specializing in general business. He also possesses a master’s degree in Public Administration, focusing on Law and Management, a bachelor’s in Legal Studies, and a National Diploma in Law.
Throughout his distinguished academic career, he has served as an Associate Professor at the University of Phoenix, as well as holding professorships at CICA International University and Seminary, USA, the American University of Technology, USA, and Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Technical Director of the International Strategic Alliance for Academic and Professional Development at Niger Delta University, where he leads initiatives aimed at promoting excellence in forensic accounting and fraud investigation, as well as criminal intelligence management and forensic investigation programs. Since 2017, these innovative, interdisciplinary programs have equipped students with critical knowledge and analytical skills to address contemporary challenges, including crime and criminality, intelligence, public safety, white-collar crimes, corruption, regulatory non-compliance, and ethical breaches across corporate and public sectors. He had successfully empowered hundreds of professionals and leaders through mentors, education, coaching, and training worldwide.
In addition, Professor Paul founded the Chartered Examiners of Criminology and Forensic Investigation Inc., USA, in 2019 and served as its Global Chairman. He has been a council member of the Chartered Institute of Management Leadership, USA. Currently, he serves on the council of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, USA, where he holds the Director of Education and Training position. In 2024, he was appointed to the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria as a CIFCFIN International Relations Committee Member (2024). Renowned for fostering collaboration and innovation within global organizations, Professor Paul has significantly expanded his professional network, enhancing his impact in criminology, forensic investigation, and leadership. As a highly sought-after freelance speaker, Professor Paul regularly presents at national and international conferences, seminars, and training sessions, particularly in technical disciplines. He is a distinguished guest speaker at numerous university faculty conferences worldwide and is celebrated for his exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development expertise.
Professor Paul has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards and certificates for his outstanding contributions. These include the Consulate General of Nigeria New York Certificate of Honor Award (2021), the U.S. President’s Lifetime Achievement Award (2023), and a Certificate of Recognition from the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Niger Delta University for his exemplary performance in the International Strategic Alliance Program for Academic Research and Professional Development (2023). He holds the esteemed professional designation of Chartered Certified Forensic Accountant/Auditor (CCrFA), awarded by the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners in the United Kingdom (2021).
With a career spanning over three decades, Professor Paul has held key positions in both the public and corporate sectors, including roles at the United States Department of Homeland Security, the New York State Office of the Attorney General, the New York Police Department, and various New York City agencies. Since 2007, he has served as the President of Uniworld Corporate Investigations and Security Specialists LLC. A visionary leader, management consultant, researcher, investigative practitioner, and licensed private investigator in New York, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence in his field. He has also been appointed to the Notary Public for the State of New York and previously served as the esteemed Continental Director of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigations Professionals in North America.
In addition to his remarkable professional accomplishments, Professor Paul is a distinguished publisher, prolific article writer, and sought-after international conference speaker. He has served as an Editorial Peer Reviewer for esteemed journals, including the Journal of ANWAD in the USA (2012) and the CIEPUK Journal in the U.K. (2021). As an associate member of the American Society of Industrial Security and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA, he remains deeply connected to advancing standards in his field. Professor Paul is also the visionary founder of the groundbreaking AfroRedflag disruptive innovation program, designed to address Africa’s unique challenges in detecting, analyzing, and reporting unethical workplace behavior.
