Written by Prof. Mannixs E. Paul, PhD, FCFIP, FCIML, FCECFI, FFAR Life has its rhythm—a divine circle where beginnings and endings intertwine. We live in a world entirely of seasons: seasons of joy, seasons of trials, seasons of waiting, and seasons of growth. In time, what once felt vital may fade into the background, and what we once overlooked may become our guiding light. That’s the beauty and mystery of life under heaven—everything has its time and place. We are not in control of everything. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, life throws us into places we didn’t choose. People change, situations shift, and unexpected storms rise. In such moments, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed—lose sleep, worry, or question. But even then, we are reminded of one powerful truth: we are not alone. Rather than carrying every burden on our shoulders, we are called to surrender. We are called to pray not because we are weak but because we are wise enough to know we need help. We are called to remain hopeful not because life is perfect but because we trust that every season—even the painful ones—has a purpose. At its core, excellence isn’t about figuring it all out. It’s about choosing every day to show up with integrity, make intentional decisions, and grow through both success and failure. It’s the quiet courage to stay the course, even when the path is uncertain. We ask God not only for open doors but for the wisdom to walk through the right ones. We ask for clarity when we’re confused, for strength when we’re tired, and for grace when we fall short. Our prayer is simple but powerful: we may live with purpose, fulfill our destiny, and do so in peace, harmony, and love. In the end, it’s not about having control over everything. It’s about trusting the One who does—and allowing God to guide us with grace and compassion through every season of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
