Written by Prof. Mannixs E. Paul, PhD, FCFIP, FCIML, FCECFI, FFAR Proverbs 21:16 reminds us that wisdom is not optional for a thriving life or society. The temptation to wander from understanding is timeless, but today it takes on new forms through moral relativism, technology-induced distraction, and rampant misinformation. Individuals and societies can avoid spiritual and ethical decay by recognizing these dangers and choosing to walk the path of wisdom, anchored in moral clarity, critical thinking, and community support. In doing so, we resist joining the “congregation of the dead” and embrace a life marked by purpose, resilience, and hope.
